Only 2% of the Bible Is God’s Writing

  • I have said this before―98% of the Bible is the devil’s writing. Only 2% contains what God has put in.
  • It wasn’t like what it is now, with 10,000 or 100,000 copies printing out from set type. Everything was written on parchment or sheepskin with pigment. Sometimes tree bark or papyrus was used for the purpose. Try writing the entire volume of the Bible on sheepskin. A single copy will fill up a few barns.
  • Persecution intensified and whole cities were torched and believers butchered and burned on the spot, en masse. Would there have been time to carry away even a single manuscript sheet? Everything went up in flames. Persecution stepped up and the copies got buried in the ground for safekeeping. But could they have buried all of the Bible when even a single complete copy took several warehouses to store? Certainly not.
  • What would happen to the portion that didn’t get buried? It was torn or burned. Even the portion hidden underground would not remain intact and would start to deteriorate, most of it becoming illegible.
  • Nonetheless, had there been someone who, filled with the Holy Spirit, prayed and pleaded with God for the meaning of the passages that were truncated, erased or illegible from the blurred ink, wouldn’t God have come forward with an explanation: The sentence that got cut off there is this and so on and so forth? Of course He would have. Had there been such a person full of the Holy Spirit on the editorial committee for the Bible, would only 2% be God’s word? It would have been a lot more. Had the editorial committee been composed 100% with persons filled with the Holy Spirit, the Bible, be it a few dozen times more voluminous, would have been composed 100% of God’s word.
  • What is paraded today as the Bible has fillers in between God’s words, arbitrary stuffing and padding. Not inspired by the Holy Spirit, but culled and edited from a collection of burnt residues, sodden fragments with illegible blotches, to suit personal tastes and biases.
  • Naturally some parts read like fairy tales. You are familiar with the story [on the founding of Korea’s Silla Dynasty] somebody came up with to glorify his ancestry: “Hear ye, hear ye, our ancestor sprang from a gourd. Out stepped he when the gourd was split open, to reign as king.” Is this true or a lie? A lie, of course. My point exactly. Read the prophetic writings of the Bible, a bundle of contradictions.
