The evidence of God’s grace and presence

Holy Dew Spirit descending during the Completion Assembly of the Twenty-Thousand Altar in Seoul (April 30, 1957)
Because of the event where God was imprisoned, the members of the Chunbukyo Church across the country spent their days in tears.
During this time, I also went up to Sosa Faith Village and, while observing the situation, experienced a severe accident where I slipped on an icy hill and fractured my right kneecap. After falling on the ice, I dragged my injured leg and tried to crawl, but I eventually lost consciousness. Fortunately, people around me moved me to a house, wrapped my knee with a bandage, and applied the Water of Life as first aid.
That night, in a semi-conscious state, God appeared and blessed my fractured knee with great power. I was astonished and woke up from my sleep.
After regaining consciousness, I realized that, strangely, there was no pain in my knee. I removed the bandage and found that the swelling had gone down and my leg looked fine. Later, I had the urge to try walking, so I carefully stood up. To my surprise, it didn’t hurt at all. Encouraged, I began to walk, and it seemed like a miracle. Just the night before, my kneecap had been broken into several pieces, but after God visited me in my dream and blessed my knee, it miraculously healed and I was able to walk again.
Eventually, I discovered that God had provided His grace not only to me but also to other church members.
After slipping on the icy hill,
my shattered leg was miraculously healed
when God blessed me in a dream.
Although God was far away at the time, the blessing of the Water of Life He gave is still remembered by many to this day. One day, I had the opportunity to visit God with a few others. At that time, God said, “Do not disband the construction team. Make sure that the local believers do not scatter, and let the ministers act with confidence.” He also promised to bless the Water of Life, saying, “I will bless it at 7 p.m., so each of you should fill your water bottles with water.”
Hearing this, the church members followed His words and filled their water bottles every evening at 7 p.m. and drank the Water of Life. At that time, we used the Water of Life to heal diseases and even beautify the deceased, sending them off beautifully.
On March 26, 1960, it was the day God was released from prison. On that day, as God called me to come to the Fifty-Thousand Altar, I immediately went there. Looking at me, God said, “I had blessed your broken leg,” confirming what He had done in my dream and then blessed my leg again. I was so amazed and grateful that I collapsed to the ground and cried endlessly. Even now, when I think of that time, my eyes become misty.
That year, with my fully healed leg, I participated in the national Chunbukyo Sports Competition long-distance marathon and won third place. So, I proudly say, “That third place is more valuable than winning an Olympic marathon gold medal.”
On the day God was released from prison, He said,
“I had blessed your broken leg,” and then blessed it again.
On December 10 of that year, there was an incident where the media falsely reported that a photo of the “Holy Dew Spirit” had been artificially manipulated. As a result, church members visited the Dong-A Ilbo newspaper to demand a correction. (*Dong-A Ilbo Incident)
In fact, that photo of the Holy Dew Spirit had been officially examined by prestigious organizations such as the American Life magazine and was found not to have been artificially manipulated.
This incident prompted me to preserve photos of the Holy Dew Spirit, which I had taken during the opening service of the Twenty-Thousand Altar in April 1957, where the Holy Dew Spirit descended like a waterfall. I carefully collected these photos, which were taken at each service. I created slides from these photos and used a projector to show them during revival meetings, also screening documentary films to testify about God.
For 30 years, I continued spreading God’s words. While serving at the Daejeon, Jeongmi, Hanjin, Onyang, Geochang, Jeonju, Busan 5th Central, Seoul 9th Central, Busan 2nd Central, Gwangju, and Daegu Chunbukyo Church, I witnessed God’s power and might beyond measure.
In early March 1990, after decades of religious service, I was appointed as the security chief of Gijang Faith Village. I continued my previous work of documenting the growth of Gijang Faith Village through photography, organizing the images into albums and slide mounts.
Then, on March 16, 1996, around 4 a.m., as I was heading outside for early morning service, I witnessed an astonishing sight. In the sky, directly across from the main gate, a bright light was shining intensely. I immediately grabbed my camera, captured the scene, and upon developing the film, I was amazed to find that it revealed a phenomenon similar to the grace I had experienced in the early days.
Then, on the night of November 16 of that same year, between 9 and 10 p.m., an even more extraordinary sight appeared in the sky over Gijang Faith Village. That evening was the night before Thanksgiving. At Samteo Park, a celebratory music event was taking place when suddenly, a breathtaking display of about 50 beams of light appeared, descending like pillars from the eastern sky. This incredible sight was witnessed not only by the residents of the Faith Village but also by church members from across the country and abroad who had gathered for the Thanksgiving service.
I, along with a team of four photographers, captured this awe-inspiring scene on camera. After developing the photos, we discovered that, in addition to the visible pillars of light, various forms of the Holy Dew Spirit were also captured. All of these phenomena serve as vivid proof that God is with us and demonstrate that the Holy Dew Spirit is descending upon the Faith Village. In fact, this phenomenon of beams of light appearing in the sky occurred several times around the Thanksgiving period, but on that particular day, it was exceptionally clear and distinct. The beams filled the eastern sky, with dozens of them visible.
Throughout my 40-year journey of faith, I have had countless spiritual experiences, but here I have shared only a few in writing. Even now, the Holy Dew Spirit continues to descend like a thick mist, the dead are beautifully bloomed, and God remains with us. This is not merely my personal testimony. Anyone in Chunbukyo Church can confidently affirm this. I will continue to deeply cherish and hold these blessings in my heart as I live my life.
For 30 years, I have collected
photos of the Holy Dew Spirit to testify about God.
On the night before Thanksgiving in November 1996,
I witnessed the wondrous Holy Dew Spirit a vivid proof that God is with us.

The Dong-A Ilbo Incident
In 1955, as God’s work spread rapidly across the nation, the media, in collaboration with established churches, began to slander God and Chunbukyo Church.
In particular, the Dong-A Ilbo published hundreds of defamatory articles and claimed that the photos of the Holy Dew Spirit were fabricated.
As a result, on December 10, 1960, Chunbukyo believers gathered in front of the Dong-A Ilbo headquarters to condemn the false reports and demand a correction. However, the police forcibly suppressed the protest.
