Salvation Is Obtained Through Deeds, Not Faith

Now, let me speak plainly.
Among the famous books, there is one called the Bible, whose main character is allegedly Jesus. For thousands of years, many renowned people have said that Jesus is the savior, and he is the central figure of the sixty-six books of the Bible.
In this, Jesus declares, “Ah, I am the greatest physician for diseases of the soul. Just believe in me, only me. If you just believe in me, Jesus, you will all receive salvation and not die."
To put it simply, it's like this: Imagine a doctor who is the main character in a book as famous as the Bible in the medical field. This famous doctor examines a patient suffering from 100 fatal diseases. "You have a fatal disease inside you. But just believe in me. Don't you know I am the most famous top doctor? Just believe in me and you will not die." If the patient just believes the doctor's words, will he live or die? He will clearly die.
Would the patient live simply by believing these words? Certainly not. Death would still come.
If Jesus is a physician for diseases of the soul, he must cure the spiritual disease, fundamentally uprooting sin. Making humanity, which was eternally destined to die because of sin, become free from sin and able to reach eternal life –that is what it truly means to be a physician who cures diseases of the soul. But it began to be revealed that Jesus did not know salvation, that Jesus was a human who did not even know the word 'salvation'.
Now, what does it mean to believe and obtain salvation? Imagine an Englishman saying, “I believe you. Therefore, I shall go to England.” If he repeats this ten million times, will he go? No —he must prepare and board a plane to reach the destination.
Thus, merely saying, “I believe, I believe,” is meaningless. Humanity, destined to die because of sin, must be cleansed from sin. Yet, Jesus himself did not know how to wash away sin, nor how to resolve it. Therefore, for two thousand years, no one in the world has clue about how to get salvation. The entire world is ignorant of how sin is washed away.

The Holy Spirit Does Not Compromise With Sin

성신은 죄와 타협하지 않는다

The Holy Spirit Does Not Compromise With Sin “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:1-2) Your sins have […]

Hymns Are Prayers With a Melody

찬송은 곡조 있는 기도

Hymns Are Prayers With a Melody Hymns are prayers with a melody. Those who have stopped singing hymns have no tears. What are hymns about? About the devil? No, they sing about God, about me. Whether you say “Not by might nor by power, but by the Holy Spirit” or “Mighty power will come from […]

Hymns, Tuneful Prayers, Ought to Be Sung With Understanding

찬송은 곡조 있는 기도, 뜻을 알고 불러야

Hymns, Tuneful Prayers, Ought to Be Sung With Understanding Singing hymns culled from the essence of the Bible, you turn to God. But hymns are not so much a gift to God as a demand on Him for everything. Through hymns, which I first called tuneful prayers, you are all asking God, “Give us all […]

Hymns Are Prayers With a Melody

찬송은 곡조 있는 기도

I will give you a gift of prayer. Please recite after me. It’s very simple: “Give us boundless joy and delight, grace and smiles.” Offer this prayer repeatedly. Continue praying and your closed heart will open up. Beseech earnestly and grace, the spirit of the triune God, will pour down upon you. I gave this prayer last Sunday to some people and this is exactly what happened to one of them. The faces of one family were stiff and hard, but one family member offered this prayer continuously. His mind not only opened up, but the faces of the rest of his family members softened as well. Repeat this prayer continuously. Uneasiness cannot find any foothold in a person who is ceaselessly connected with grace. That person will be constantly overflowing with joy and delight. After being connected with grace, this prayer will be one of the most vital ways to keep oneself clothed with ever more grace. In conclusion, although it is important to listen to a sermon as valuable as the one I am giving you today, it is much more important and valuable to make every effort, even for one extra second, in order to receive more grace. Therefore, the prayer which I have given you today is simple but precious. Whenever you beseech intently with this prayer from the bottom of your heart, all four will be granted.
